IAF shares headlines (links below) related to the Grand Solar Minimum and posits that our progress raising awareness over the last decades is too slow: around 2000, there was “global warming,” with no competing narrative. Now, we do see very real opposition to the idea of Anthropogenic Global Warming in the mainstream zeitgeist. Unfortunately, however, this is as far as it goes — “Global warming is REAL or NOT” — rarely exploring the ACTUAL reasons for the data: solar cycles. This is the “fake dialogue” out of which we must break folks, before they can be again ready to look objectively at the data.

There is so little conversation around the Grand Solar Minimum and the hard data surrounding it, particularly compared to fantastical topics like Planet X/Niburu
and Flat Earth, that we really need to up our game: creating videos, memes, real life windshield fliers — ANYTHING to push this idea into the public consciousness. It is incumbent upon us also to lay breadcrumbs so that those who pick up the idea as the weather insanity continues, can quickly find their way, and rapidly move towards radical self-sufficiency.
