In the spirit of pushing aquaponics to the next level (and after spending hours extracting grow media from tomato roots), this prototype build is a fusion of a few techniques: using grow bags to air prune roots and separate plants, allowing them to wick up nutrient-rich water from a tray into soil. This massively expands the grow area, and–legend has it–improves yield. How are you growing your food?
